The Research Assistant will conduct research on security issues, health and safety updates, and news in the region, employing a variety of research methodologies to gather, analyze, and interpret data related to subjects, and preparing weekly research reports with graphs and spreadsheets.
- Collect relevant information on the research topic by reviewing print and online databases.
- Liaise with organizations and individuals related to the topic to gather data for study • Collect, analyze, and interpret data in relation to the research subject
- Create graphs and spreadsheets to represent research findings.
Prepare a weekly comprehensive analysis report
- A bachelor’s degree in social sciences/humanities or related courses is required.
- A minimum of one (1) year of research and news reporting experience in health and safety management.
- Strong analytical abilities and interpersonal relationship skills are needed.
- Research methodology knowledge is needed.
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to operate under pressure
- Prioritization skills
- Able to perform research interviews, as well as compile, analyze, and interpret data.
- Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
